F355 was the only car that beat Peugeot 106 GTI's fastest cornering speed in the second test Car magazine did in 1997. I owned a 106 GTI which left everything dead in the fastest corner including Catehram Super Seven, Lotus Elise, and all of the tested supercars of 1997, but I forgive F355 because it's awesome in every single way.

I always considered this car the peak of Ferrari's aesthetic. It borrowed elements from the Testarossa, made it contemporary and in the same breath timeless. It's my dream car. I have no idea how much they go for now, but I suspect these will be priceless as my generation heads towards retirement age,

I have driven one of these. Beyond the sound, it's mediocre at best. The pedal box is terribly tight, the steering wheel is in a very awkward position, the driving dynamics don't give much initial confidence, and the clutch feel was average at best(owners son sucked at driving stick and toasted it?? It was in the shop shortly after he let him drive it all summer for a replacement clutch). I hardly fit in the vehicle to be able to even drive it(6' 3" very fit physique).. Positive comment: The gated shifter was very nice! If you lust for this vehicle, I would advise to not meet your hero. Simply observe, listen, and enjoy from a distance. A great experience none the less.
